Regular-Check-Ins
Regular Check-Ins involve Enabling Teams periodically observing Stream Teams in their operational environment to evaluate their workflows, tools, and interactions for potential improvements.
Goal
The goal is to ensure continuous improvement within Stream Teams by identifying inefficiencies and proposing actionable solutions.
Context
Stream Teamsare often not aware that they are operating inefficiently or using outdated practices. We know from continuous interviewing that we should not ask people what they need because they often don't know what they need. Regular Check-Ins provide an opportunity for Enabling Teams to observe Stream Teams in action, identify areas for improvement, and suggest interventions to enhance their performance.

Anti-patterns
- Infrequent Check-Ins: Not conducting check-ins regularly enough, which can lead to outdated or ineffective interventions.
- Intrusive Observation: Observations that disrupt the natural workflow of the teams, leading to skewed data and resistance.
- Lack of Follow-Up: Failing to revisit and assess the impact of implemented changes, which can nullify the potential benefits of check-ins.
