Purpose

The purpose of identifying and documenting opportunities is to anchor product development efforts in actual user needs. This ensures that the team prioritises features, enhancements, and solutions that directly address real issues faced by users, thereby increasing the value and relevance of the product.

Anti-patterns

  • Opportunities as Solutions: We need to write opportunities as pain points, desires or unmet needs, and not a solution.
