Funding Enabling Teams
Funding Enabling Teams refers to the strategic allocation of resources to small, functionally aligned teams composed of senior experts tasked with enhancing the operational efficiency of Stream teams through training, knowledge sharing, process improvements, and technology.
Goal
The primary goal is to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of Stream teams by providing them with the necessary expertise and tools, thus improving overall organisational performance.
Context
In cross-functional teams it can be difficult to maintain a high level of expertise in all areas because functional experts are distributed around the ecosystem. Enabling Teams provide a way to upskill Stream Teams in areas where they may not have expertise and distribute knowledge across the organisation.

- Lack of Measurement: Not establishing clear metrics to assess the impact of enabling teams, making it difficult to justify and optimise funding.
